I’ve been really looking forward to Easter, this year. It kind of started when I attended a Passion Play at First Baptist Church Tupelo. The service was awesome and it was concluded with a powerful testimony from the Pastor. Like me, the Pastor had recently lost a loved one. Of course, I have known the good news of Jesus for many years. But this year our Lord’s resurrection is very real to me as I find hope in that my earthly dad will have eternal life because Jesus paid the wages of our sins and died on the cross. As Jesus rose from the dead, I believe one day so will my sleeping father and many others who believe in Jesus as The Son of God who died in our stead.
Just as God the Son did the impossible and miraculously rose from the dead, He can do the impossible with us, here on Earth…

Where do I start? You always know it’s a possibility that you might here some bad news about a loved one, but you don’t want to hear it. I remember the doctor saying, “It’s cancer and it’s not good”. Later that same day, I remember asking God to work a miracle in my father’s body. And…He did.
2017/2018
I had heard that the type of lung cancer that my dad had was very painful. During his care, health care professionals were surprised at the low level of pain that he was in. My parents were told that it was going to be painful. During the last three weeks of his life, when he was on hospice care and the tumor was big enough for our eyes to see, his nurse looked at his pain medicine and was like, is that all he’s taking?! The miracle was not what I expected it to be, but I am so grateful for it! Daddy didn’t suffer! I wanted him to be cured from cancer and to continue living life with us on Earth, but remember in my previous post, his death had a purpose and was part of God’s plan. But God still answered my prayer and worked a miracle! An illness that should have caused major pain for my dad, didn’t. We didn’t have to see him suffer! God showed Himself mighty and showed me that He can work miracles! And I still believe!
Eternity-Infinity-Forever Ever!
One of the greatest miracles ever worked by God happened many years ago when He gave His Only Son as the Perfect Sacrifice to die for the sins of us all. After paying that price, He didn’t stay dead, but rose and is alive, today, reigning in heaven. Because He paid the price for our sins and died, we can live, eternally. I can live, you can live, my earthly father and others who believe can live, forever. God can work miracles and God can save! I still believe and I hope I have encouraged you to believe, too! Trust Him, today, to work the great miracle of salvation in your life and others! Be encouraged!

Miracle: a surprising and welcome event that is not explicable by natural or scientific laws and is therefore considered to be the work of a divine agency GOD!
